Tennessee Wesleyan University Named a Best College by Money Magazine
Tennessee Wesleyan University is proud to announce its recognition as one of only 16 institutions in Tennessee named a “Best College” by Money Magazine, earning an impressive rating of 3.5 out of 5 stars on this highly competitive list.
While Money emphasizes that there is no single “best college” for every student, its rankings are designed to highlight standout universities that deliver an exceptional value to students. To be considered for the list, colleges must meet rigorous criteria, including enrolling at least 500 undergraduate students, maintaining strong financial stability, and achieving graduation rates equal to or above the national median.
“Being named a ‘Best College’ by Money is a true honor,” said Dr. Tyler Forrest, President of Tennessee Wesleyan University. “Our students are at the heart of everything we do, and we are committed to creating opportunities that make a high-quality education both accessible and meaningful. This recognition from Money Magazine affirms the truly transformational experiences our students have every day at Tennessee Wesleyan.”
In addition to this recognition from Money Magazine, Tennessee Wesleyan has also been ranked the #3 Best Value College in Tennessee by Niche and the #9 Best Regional College in the South by U.S. News & World Report for 2026.
