You've Got A Team To Help You Succeed.
The Mosher Success Center is located on the second floor of the Colloms Campus Center, and here, you’ll meet the student success group. Responsible for new student orientation, your freshman experience class and success coaching – we are here for you every step of the way.
Meet the Team
Sara Denny - Director of Student Success
Sara is from the St. Louis, MO area. She earned her BA from Truman State University and her MA from Roehamption University. She loves to travel and try new things, she’s a huge fan of the St. Louis Blues (2019 Stanley Cup Champions!), and the St. Louis Cardinals. She has one adorable and sweet cat named Owen Jenkins, one adorable (but slightly) mischievous cat named Ouiser, and one adorable and very mischievous dog named Berkley. Sara oversees our orientation program, coordinates the TWU 101/102 program, and works with the other success coaches at Mosher to provide success coaching and other programs throughout the year.
Why do you love working for TWU in the Mosher Success Center?
I loved the atmosphere when I visited TWU for my interview along with the oppurtunity to develop the Mosher Success Center. I love the oppurtunity to work with students and support students from orientation through graduation.

DeLunda "Candy" Maddux - Director of Career & Leadership Development
“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.” – Harriet Tubman. DeLunda is a very open, fun-loving and compassionate person who was raised in a community similar to Athens. Upon her first visit to the campus, she knew she would fit right in. Throughout her journey in higher education, she has found that every student deserves the opportunity to succeed. She often tells her students, it doesn’t matter where you come from, but how you finish. Education is something that can never be taken from you.
