The Office of Career and Leadership Development is here to help you with your career and leadership goals. In this office, you can get help writing a resume or cover letter, preparing for an interview, choosing a major, preparing applications for graduate school and more. Here, you will find a place where all the resources that you need in your career search throughout your college journey.

Our office is here to encourage and support you during your career exploration journey. Exploring your passions and skills is a priority while choosing a career path. We have resources that will help you along the way.
You will have the opportunity to take a personalized and guided assessment to help you identify careers you are best-suited for. We’ll also help you figure out how to choose a major based on your career goals. Don’t worry, we’ve always got your back!
Career Coaching : Students may request appointments through Building Bulldogs for Success in order to engage in career and/or major exploration and create short and long term goals
Skills Workshop: Students can schedule resume reviews, mock interviews and attend C&LD workshops hosted throughout the year.

Sign Up For Housing
Pay the $100 housing deposit if you are planning to live on campus (be sure to put Housing Deposit in the memo). Once the deposit is made, you’ll receive an email with the housing application. Check out the residence hall options.

Focus 2: FOCUS 2 is a self-paced, online career and education planning tool for college students that is designed to help you make decisions about future career goals and education plans. FOCUS 2 provides five self-assessments to help you identify your top work interests, values, skills, personality type, and leisure time interests and explore occupations. Students use FOCUS 2 to help choose or change their major and also to verify their choice of a career field.

Resume Target: Provides TWU students and alumni with online resources for resume building, cover letter writing, job searching and latest news on current trends in the market. Click here to access the platform.
SOKANU: Perfect for students who need clarity in selecting their major or career choice, Sokanu is a free career assessment which evaluates personality traits, strengths, weaknesses, interests, and lifestyle to provide suggestions of potential career paths.
