BIOGRAPHY

Suzanne Oliver grew up in a military family moving around the country and the world as her father’s assignments required. She settled in Knoxville when she secured her first teaching job after graduating from college. Her first husband grew up in the Knoxville area, and they made their home there.
Suzanne spent over 25 years teaching and serving as an administrator in the Knox County school system before accepting a position with Clinton City Schools as the Supervisor for Special Education and Human Resources Director until her retirement in June 2024. She thoroughly enjoyed each classroom and school position in which she served and is thrilled to be teaching future special education teachers as a part of TWU’s faculty.
