BIOGRAPHY

In 2004, Scott Mashburn was afforded the opportunity to join the Bulldog family as the Dean of Students. Prior to coming to TWU, he worked at the University of North Alabama, Carthage College, and Tusculum University. He works with a great team of professionals that work to provide services and support to TWU students through Student Success, Student Activities, Residence Life, Spiritual Life, Career and Leadership Development, and various other campus services.

One of his greatest joys is traveling with students on various alternative break trips where they have the pleasure of serving others in the US or abroad. During his time at TWU, Scott has taken students to Washington DC, Kissimmee, FL, Baton Rogue, LA, Beaumont, TX, the Bahamas, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua.

Scott’s wife, Kathi, and he were married in 1993 and have been blessed with a daughter, son, and son-in-law. He enjoys watching most sports, traveling, working in the yard, and spending time with his family.
