Open House at TWU!

Attend TWU's Open House and learn all there is to be a Bulldog! You and your family are invited to spend a day on campus, exploring the academic, social and athletic advantages of Tennessee Wesleyan. Hear from our president, Dr. Tyler Forrest; learn about our financial aid opportunities; meet with current students and faculty, and experience a day in the life of a Tennessee Wesleyan Bulldog.

Fall 2025 Open House – Thursday, October 2nd


Tentative Schedule

Registration/Check-In: 10:00-10:30 a.m.

Welcome – Dr. Forrest, TWU President: 10:30-10:40 a.m.

Admissions Information: 10:40 – 10:50 a.m.

Financial Aid Information, including scholarships and FAFSA: 10:50-11:00 a.m.

Student Life Presentation: 11:00- 11:15 a.m.

Information about housing, parking, convocations, service, and student activities.

Tour/Academic Fair/Student Organization Fair: 11:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Tours are given by TWU Student Ambassadors. Faculty and staff are present and available to talk with future Bulldogs and their parents about academic programs the students are interested in. Students will be able to talk with student organizations, clubs, and Greek Life.  

Lunch in the Dining Hall 12:35 p.m. Students interested in learning more about the Honors Program can attend an informational session in Sullins Conference Room in Sherman Dining Hall during this period.

After lunch, students will explore interactive sessions across campus: watch Communications students record a live podcast (Reece Hall, 2nd floor), dive into a real-life case study with Criminal Justice faculty and former Athens Chief of Police Cliff Couch, join a College of Health Sciences hands-on info session, and learn about career pathways in History, English, and Modern Languages.
