About TWU

Tennessee Wesleyan University, located in the heart of downtown Athens, TN, is a small, private Methodist University with additional locations in Knoxville, TN. Founded in 1857, TWU is affiliated with the Holston Conference. 

TWU offers a liberal arts education, along with a variety of professional and graduate programs. Students can choose from over 80 undergraduate majors and minors and 6 graduate programs in fields such as business, health professions, and education.
