TWU Celebrates New Record Enrollment Milestone Fall 2026
Tennessee Wesleyan University is excited to celebrate another milestone in its history as the university begins the Fall 2026 semester with a record enrollment of 1,601 students, representing a 13.2% increase over Fall 2025.
This continued growth reflects the strength of Tennessee Wesleyan’s academic programs and the university’s commitment to providing students with a personalized, affordable education.
“This record enrollment is a tremendous reflection of the hard work and dedication of our entire Tennessee Wesleyan community,” said Dr. Tyler Forrest, president of Tennessee Wesleyan University. “Our growth is a testament to the exceptional faculty, staff, coaches, and student
experience that make Tennessee Wesleyan such a special place.”
The university saw particularly strong enrollment in several graduate and professional programs. Fall 2026 enrollment includes 286 students in TWU’s Dual Enrollment programs, 197 in the Executive Master of Science program, and 132 in the Executive MBA program, among other programs.
Tennessee Wesleyan’s enrollment has continued to grow in recent years, increasing from 1,177 students in Fall 2024 to 1,398 in Fall 2025 and now 1,601 in Fall 2026. This represents an overall increase of more than 36% in just two years.
The university’s latest enrollment milestone comes as TWU continues to expand its academic offerings, invest in campus facilities, and strengthen opportunities designed to help students succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
