Program Description
Housed under the Health and Human Performance department, the pre-physical therapy degree has a heavy foundation in exercise science. Pre-physical therapy prepares students for graduate study and a career in physical therapy.
Experiences within the Exercise Science department include multiple lab-based courses, hands-on learning experiences, collaborative research projects with faculty, internships within the department, athletics, and the community, the Health and Human Performance club, and the Exercise is Medicine on Campus® initiative.
Career Opportunities
Pre-physical therapy specifically prepares students for graduate school and training and physical therapy, as well as the application process for PT school.
