Rev. Adam Love to Speak at Spring 2026 Baccalaureate

Tennessee Wesleyan University is excited to share that the Rev. Adam Love will be the Baccalaureate speaker for the 2026 Spring ceremony happening this Friday, May 8th at 7:00 pm in Townsend Auditorium. Rev. Adam Love has served in ministries in the United Methodist Church for twenty-one years. He is currently Senior Pastor at Hixson United Methodist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee and is a member of the Holston Annual Conference, where he has held a number of pastoral appointments. Rev. Lowe also sits as Chair of the Appalachian District Committee on Ministry, Chair of the Executive Committee of the East Tennessee State University Wesley Foundation, and is a member of the Holston Conference Board of Ordained Ministry. He has also served on the Holston Conference Discipleship and Nurture Committees, among others.


Rev. Love grew up in Johnson City, Tennessee and graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in Pre-Seminary and a minor in History. He subsequently attended the Candler School of Theology at Emory University. Rev. Love is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Ministry Program at Emmanual Christian Seminary at Milligan University.


Rev. Love and his wife Bobbi are the parents of two daughters, Madeleine and Annie. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, reading, and chauffeuring his two lovely daughters.
