Thank you for your interest in the Tennessee Wesleyan Phonathon. Through the phonathon, we personally contact hundreds of alumni and friends of TWC each year. Our two-fold purpose is to build and strengthen the relationship between TWC and our alumni and donors while talking to them about the importance of supporting the college financially.
We need students who are passionate about their TWC experience and are willing and able to create rapport with alumni and friends of the college in order to solicit and negotiate for much needed support of the TWC Fund.
No experience is needed, but you will be required to attend a mandatory training program to learn the necessary skills for success. You must be open to new experiences and willing to learn new skills. Training may include lectures, discussions, and role-playing.
Student callers are expected to act professionally at all times while strengthening relationships between the college and its supporters. This position requires excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mentality, the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment, and a genuine love for Tennessee Wesleyan.
A mandatory training session will be held on Friday, April 15 from 3:30pm until 4:30pm.
Several call shifts are available in the afternoon and evening on April 18, 19, and 21. You may indicate your availability on the application.
