Tennessee Wesleyan University welcomes you to New Student Orientation. During orientation, new students will meet many members of the university community, learn what it means to be a Bulldog, finalize your financial aid and meet with a faculty advisor to set up your semester schedule. In order to register for an upcoming orientation, all students must pay your $200 enrollment deposit.

Thursday, June 17-Friday, June 18 (Overnight)

Wednesday, July 7 (Transfer Only)

Thursday, July 8-Friday, July 9 (Overnight)

Monday, August 2 (Fall Athletes)

We plan to hold in-person orientations for all new students. We are keeping a close eye on the COVID-19 pandemic and will continue to make timely decisions based on science and local data to ensure your safety.

What to expect at an in-person orientation.

1. You will meet other new Bulldogs. You'll meet in small groups of 8-10 students and go through activities to learn more about each other and TWU!

2. Connect with current Bulldogs. Meet your Orientation Leaders who will also serve as Peer Mentors once you arrive in the fall.

3. Meet with financial aid. You will meet with someone from Student Financial Services. Here, you can discuss your award letters, learn how to work on campus and set up a payment plan.

4. Register for your first TWU classes! Meet face-to-face with your TWU advisor. You'll talk through Wesleyan Essentials and your major courses - then register for fall classes!

It could happen, but we hope it won't, but we may have to move to an online format. Our Orientation Leaders have worked hard to develop a plan so you are still connected to the same experienece as if you were on campus!
