Fall 2020 Hall Move-in Details

Residents will go directly to their residence hall and check-in with the building RAs. Only the resident should come to the lobby to check-in.

 

Residents are only permitted to bring two (2) people to assist with move-in. We ask that you comply with this instruction as we are trying to reduce crowds in the halls. All individuals must wear masks/face coverings while in the hallways of the residence halls.

 

July 31-August 2—International Students, currently out of the US, are encouraged to arrive by August 2 in order to quarantine for 14 days before classes begin on August 17. Please email Dean Mashburn and provide him with your arrival date and time.

 

August 2—Miller Hall Residents (or you can move in on any of the dates below; due to staff training no other dates will be available)

 

August 9—Fall Athletes (soccer, volleyball, and cross country) and Dental Hygiene students move in (see info below for move in time periods)

 

August 13—New Students (see info below for move in time periods)

 

August 16—Returning Students (see info below for move-in time periods)

Move-in times each Day:

In an effort to reduce crowds during move-in, we ask residents to arrive during the designated time periods only. If you miss your designated time period, you can arrive between 3:00 p.m-5:00 p.m

 

Last Name A-H: 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.

Last Name I-O: 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m.

Last Name P-Z: 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m

 

3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. if you missed your scheduled time above

 

You may only check-in at your designated time. Expect about 15 minutes to complete the process. All check-ins will take place in the lobby of your assigned Residence Hall. Fowler and Keith Halls are located on Atlantic Street. Nocatula and Wesley Commons are located on Coach Farmer Drive. Miller Hall is located on N. Jackson Street.
