The Goodfriend School of Business
...was founded in 2016 thanks to the generosity of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Goodfriend,
friends of Tennessee Wesleyan. The Goodfriend School of Business prepares students
for impactful careers through degrees in:
•Business Administration
•Management, through the Management Excellence degree completion program
•Master of Business Administration
Each program offers a wide range of emphases, listed below.
TWU offers a bachelor's degree in business administration, with a number of emphases:

Digital Marketing
Finance
General Management
Healthcare Management
Human Resource Management
Industrial Management
International Business
Marketing
Entrepreneurship minor
The Goodfriend School of Business offers flexible, affordable degree completion through
the Management Excellence (ME) program.
The ME program offers four emphases for students completing their bachelor's in Management:

Healthcare Management
Human Resource Management
Industrial Management
The fully online, affordable MBA program at TWU includes four concentrations:
Accounting
Management
Marketing
General
Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) is part of the Future Business Leaders of America organization and focuses on leadership
development, community service, educational programs, membership benefits, academic
competitions, awards, and recognition. PBL is a well-known national business organization
that prepares students for future employment and is recognized by employers. Club
activities include leadership development workshops, resume workshops, and guest speakers.
Students can participate in competitions, conferences, and there are also club leadership
opportunities.
The Bulldog Investment Club (BIC) is a student-led research and investment club. Investments recommended by
the students use real money donated by alumni that have an interest in educating students
about investing. The BIC is open to all students regardless of class year or major.
The fund currently manages around $100,000.
The LITE House is a local initiative aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, both at TWU and for local
businesses. The original LITE House (Leading Innovators to Excel) is adjacent to campus
and includes co-working space, individual offices, and space for students and community
members to collaborate. The LITE House 2.0 operates in Elliott Hall, the home of the
Goodfriend School of Business.
