Anne M. Montgomery
Assistant Professor of Business Administration; Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation
Anne Montgomery is currently serving as Director of the Athens ME Program and as an Assistant Professor of Business Administration. Montgomery received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Tennessee Wesleyan College and later her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is now pursuing hours toward a Doctoral of Business Administration in Marketing from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.
Before venturing into the higher education, Montgomery’s professional career included fourteen years in the Chlor Alkali Divisional Accounting Department of Olin Corporation and three years as the Executive Director of Full Circle Women’s Services, a local nonprofit organization. Anne enjoys connecting with students of all ages in both the traditional day program and in the Management Excellence evening degree completion program. Witnessing first hand students grow and develop in their educational journeys is what excites Montgomery most about being at Tennessee Wesleyan. Besides being in the classroom, Anne’s favorite time is spent with her family which includes her husband, Lee, and her daughters, Sara and Maggie.
