Cynthia M. Davis
Assistant Professor of Sports Management and Physical Education
Cyndy Davis is an assistant professor of Health & Human Performance. Her primary areas of teaching are in Sport Management and Physical Education. This will include classes like: Adaptive Physical Education, History of Sport, Sport Governance, Diversity in Sports and Camping and Outdoor Recreation. She joined the department of Health and Human Performance (formerly Exercise and Sports Sciences) as an adjunct in 2009 teaching activity and topics courses. Cyndy has been a member of the Tennessee Wesleyan staff since 2006; coaching both Volleyball (8years) and Softball (10years).
Cyndy completed her B.S degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Sport and Fitness Management and a minor in Business at Tennessee Wesleyan College, December 2005. She then completed her Post-Bac degree in Physical Education K-12 and her Masters in Instruction and Curriculum at Lincoln Memorial University, December 2008. Cyndy resides in Athens with her husband Joel Davis (’04 TWC graduate) and their sons Mason and Myles.
