Tennessee Wesleyan University is proud to announce a new adult studies program in criminal justice. The Professional Leadership in Criminal Justice program is designed specifically for working adults to earn a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
The program lets working adults earn a bachelor’s degree in as little as 18 months, depending on earned college credit, while attending classes only one night a week. The program features a 10-course, 30-credit hour core program, plus an additional 30 hours of specialized study in administration of justice and behavioral science.
“Professional Leadership in Criminal Justice is designed to benefit both new adult students and working criminal justice professionals by providing the skill-sets, knowledge and tools necessary to advance their careers,” Social Sciences Department Chair Kerry Towler said. “The program goals are to provide credentials for competitive entry into criminal justice fields and to provide advanced skills and tools for successful advancement within criminal justice fields.”
Classes are held from 6-10 p.m. on Thursdays at TWU’s Knoxville facility and include additional online course content each week. Classes are seven weeks each, with four classes per semester. Tuition is $1,000 per class. For more information about the program or to enroll, contact Mark Bucco at firstname.lastname@example.org or (423) 252-1114.
