Homecoming 2022 Recap
Thank you again to everyone who attended Homecoming Weekend on October 7-9 2022, and made it a successful three day event. Congratulations to those who celebrated their Diamond (60th) and Golden (50th) Anniversaries of graduating from Tennessee Wesleyan. We were honored to celebrate your accomplishments and look forward to celebrating the classes of 1973 and 1963 at Homecoming in 2023.
Congratulations are also in order for the winners of our prestigious alumni awards. Margaret Edds was the recipient of the J. Neal Ensminger Distinguished Alumnus award. Justin Hicks won the Outstanding Young Alumnus Award. And finally, Linda Garza was the winner of the Robbie J. Ensminger Friend of Wesleyan award. It was our honor to recognize these individuals for their commitment to their community and their alma mater.
The classroom The Rev. Dr. Samuel R. Roberts taught in for many years on the second floor of Sherman Hall was dedicated in his honor, recognizing the impact Dr. Roberts had on campus and in the community. In addition to recognizing these wonderful individuals, several events such as a picnic lunch on the Colloms Lawn, multiple Greek reunion events, Black Affinity Network brunch and social and the annual choir concert provided opportunites to reunite with classmates and friends.
Please look for information for Homecoming 2023 in the spring and make plans to celebrate your alma mater.
Nominations are being accepted for the J. Neal Ensminger Distinguished Alumnus, Outstanding Young Alumnus and Robbie J. Ensminger Friend of Wesleyan Awards, as well as the Athletic Hall of Fame. Please send nominations to alumni@tnwesleyan.edu.
