Freshman Scholarships


Incoming freshmen only: Valued at full tuition and does not stack with any other institutional aid, the Harriet Reeves Neff Scholarship is Tennessee Wesleyan's top academic award.

Applicants must:

  1. maintain a minimum high school unweighted grade point average of 3.75 and a composite ACT score of 30 or an SAT score of 1390.
  2. maintain a 3.25 GPA for the scholarship to be renewed for subsequent years.

*Neff Scholars will be asked to serve as tutors or provide other services to the college for each semester that they receive the scholarship.
**Applications for the Neff Scholarship are available from the Admissions Office and must be completed before December 31 of the student's senior year in high school.

SouthEast Bank Scholarship

The SouthEast Bank scholarship provides $7,000 per year for a qualified student. The recipient must have a high school GPA of at least 3.25 and an ACT score of at least 23, as well as be a Tennessee resident. Qualified students will also demonstrate financial need as well as community involvement.
