Special Education Interventionist, grades K-8
The major in special education has a strong background in psychology, preparing you to work with a variety of students in special education. You will learn how to work with both gifted and challenged students from kindergarten through eighth grade. Upon completion of this course of study, you will be eligible to earn your Tennessee state licensure for special education interventionists for grade kindergarten through eight.

- Abnormal psychology
- Math for elementary school
- Nature and characteristics of individuals with mild/moderate disabilities
- Methods for intervention
