Special Education Endorsement Online
WHO: TWU’s Special Education Summer Academy is for current licensed Tennessee educators.
WHAT: An online program that delivers comprehensive lessons on working with students who have an identified learning disability in grades kindergarten through eighth. The Special Education Interventionist K-8 endorsement curriculum has a strong emphasis in psychology, expanding educator’s knowledge of behavior and the mind.
Upon completion, seminar participants will be prepared to take the PRAXIS exams 5203 and 5543.
*Participants must pass the PRAXIS exams 5203 and 5543 for the Special Education Interventionist K-8 add-on endorsement (144) to be added to the current teaching license.
WHEN: The Special Education Summer Academy can be completed in one summer.
Registration deadline is: May 4, 2018
WHERE: All courses will be offered completely online during Tennessee Wesleyan University’s summer sessions.
COST: $250.00 per semester hour
