Intervention Specialist and Special Education Degree

TWU’s Special Education Degree Emphasis

The intervention specialist and special education degree has a strong background in psychology, preparing you to work with a variety of students in special education. You will learn how to work with both gifted and challenged students from kindergarten through eighth grade.

Upon completion of this Tennessee special education degree, you will be eligible to earn your Tennessee state licensure for special education interventionists for grades kindergarten through eight.

This major is also available as an add-on endorsement.
