Bachelors in Elementary Education

TWU’s Elementary Education Emphasis
With a combination of classroom instruction and student teaching fieldwork, elementary education majors gain theoretical and practical knowledge and experience to excel as a K-5 educator.
Upon completion of TWU’s bachelors in elementary education program, you will be eligible to earn your Tennessee state teaching license for kindergarten through fifth grade. To earn a Bachelor of Science in elementary education, you will take courses in English, history, science, mathematics and elementary education.
This major is also available as an add-on endorsement license.
