Core Curriculum

The foundation of the liberal arts is a full education. Students don’t simply come to TWU, learn a single subject of interest, and move on to a job. At Wesleyan, students have a strong understanding of numerous subjects which not only make them better professionals, but better human beings.

Wesleyan Essentials is the general education core curriculum required of every student, regardless of their discipline. The broad-based set of courses are designed to train students in foundational liberal arts topics, with multiple opportunities for students to tailor these courses to their degree and career goals.
