Welcome to Tennessee Wesleyan! As president of the university, I invite you to explore Tennessee Wesleyan and discover our tradition of academic excellence and our strong focus on student-faculty relationships. At TWU, we are truly invested in your personal and professional successes. As a student, you will enjoy our 12:1 student to faculty ratio, which ensures you will receive the attention and support you need to be successful here and beyond.
Tennessee Wesleyan is steadily growing. In fact, we became Tennessee Wesleyan University in July 2016. This change reflects our growth and the addition of several new programs, including a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies. We offer more than 30 programs of study, with health and human performance, nursing and criminal justice as some of our most popular options. We also offer an online Master of Business Administration and are extremely excited to introduce the new Master of Occupational Therapy program.
We take pride in our relationship with our community. Tennessee Wesleyan students, faculty and staff provide hundreds of hours of volunteer service to various organizations every year. With an emphasis on service and leadership in all of our programs, we help our students understand leadership and the impact they can have on the world.
When my wife and I moved to Athens in the summer of 2011, we were greeted by a warm, caring campus community, and I know you will have the same experience. We would like to meet you and have you on campus for a visit. Please contact our admissions office to schedule a visit for you and your family. You will be able to experience firsthand the quality of our educational experience, our attention to personal relationships and our services and staff available to help you achieve your personal and professional goals. While you’re here, please stop by Old College to say hello. I look forward to meeting you soon!
