The Black Affinity Network
The Black Affinity Network is the official affinity group for Black students and graduates of Tennessee Wesleyan University. BAN was established to connect alumni and current students with shared experiences to foster a welcoming and supportive campus community.

Membership
Active involvement of BAN is strongly welcomed and encouraged. As a starting point, three areas in which we aspire to initiate are alumni engagement, scholarship support, and the fulfillment of other needs for current students, all of which cannot be done without your support.
For more information, fill out the BAN info form or email us. Also, keep an eye out for more Affinity Groups coming soon!
Josh Bragg ’14 – Choral Director, Athens City Middle School
“Tennessee Wesleyan, at a glance, may seem like a small school but it has larger than life qualities. I not only grew as a musician here but also as an adult. I value the time I spent with peers, one-on-ones with faculty and the familial environment of campus. My time and work here set me up with a job in my field of study before I graduated and continued to offer support after starting my career.”
